SV	Want gij ziet uw roeping, broeders, dat [gij] niet vele wijzen [zijt] naar het vlees, niet vele machtigen, niet vele edelen.

ASV	For behold your calling, brethren, that not many wise after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]:
BE	For you see God's design for you, my brothers, that he has not taken a great number of the wise after the flesh, not the strong, not the noble:
Byz	βλεπετε γαρ την κλησιν υμων αδελφοι οτι ου πολλοι σοφοι κατα σαρκα ου πολλοι δυνατοι ου πολλοι ευγενεις
Darby	For consider your calling, brethren, that [there are] not many wise according to flesh, not many powerful, not many high-born.
ELB05	Denn sehet eure Berufung, Brüder, daß es nicht viele Weise nach dem Fleische, nicht viele Mächtige, nicht viele Edle sind;
LSG	Considérez, frères, que parmi vous qui avez été appelés il n'y a ni beaucoup de sages selon la chair, ni beaucoup de puissants, ni beaucoup de nobles.

Sch	Sehet doch eure Berufung an, ihr Brüder! Da sind nicht viele Weise nach dem Fleisch, nicht viele Mächtige, nicht viel Adelige;
Web	For ye see your calling, brethren, that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called:
Weym	For consider, brethren, God's call to you. Not many who are wise with merely human wisdom, not many of position and influence, not many of noble birth have been called.
